Library Moments

free kittens

im blogging more, it must be exam time

on a break from the library a young lady comes up to me asking if i wanted to have a conversation. she seemed like she really wanted to have a conversation, which is more than what i can say about some of the people in my life so i said sure, whats up yo

it was about god, jesus, and stuff. which i really dont mind, my education has been secular enough that i understand why christians walk around wanting to talk about god-- they have been supressed from talking about him in classes. secular tyranny

at one point she asked me what sin was, i was like i dont know but hell is probably going to be full of my friends when i get there

so we are talking, its more like she is interviewing me, she asks what i think of jesus, i pull the line from hedwig and say i love his work, blah blah more about god and how he loves me, the thing about conversations with christians is that if there werent some massive history about god, like if they didnt walk around all the time reminding people of the history of the churches and stuff, basically if we were too modern and forgot the whole god thing in the first place, we'd mos def have put them in asylums and called them schizo's.

how else can someone walk around talking about an invisible thing who created me and loves me and wants to talk to me and created a son who died for me thousands of years ago so that my sins today would be forgiven, like, HUH? and the method of communication-- the repetition of key phrases, the committment to the same sentences--

im not dissing christianity, good for christians they are lucky enough to see some good in the world and think its worth fighting for, and they want others to feel the love and stuff, but my goodness how are they not the ones labelled schizophrenic?

alls im saying is, that's weird to me.
