Funny

Ha ha hoo-ha:

Why do older men always went younger girlfriends? I mean, I know it's because young women have beautiful bodies, but you'd think that would be a deterrent. If I were an older man, I wouldn't want to show my drooping testicles and spare tire to some 19 year old girl with a perfect body. I would feel so old and stupid that I wouldn't be able to get a boner. Hence, I would not fantasize about fucking every young woman I saw. Duh.

I think the real reason men want young girlfriends is because they want to prove to other men that they are still sexually potent. Why do they care what other men think? I have no idea.

His writing wasn't that bad.

Update:

I just read Cho's script about killing some stepdad figure after much speculation about whether he had any writing skills or not. The reports wanted me to know that his writing was so eerie he got kicked out of some university class for it, and I started to wonder whether it would be fair or rather counter-productive to keep on othering this guy even in death. I mean, so you're a little strange, but getting kicked out of a class you pay for in an american school, while paying taxes and swearing oaths to free speech and all that crap--- the point is, madness isnt remedied by more madness, it is exacerbated. it is easier to bend reality and righteousness when reality and righteousness are just ideas you toss pennies into fountains for.

in other news, I am not saying any of those people deserved it or had it coming or that there wasnt heroism that day by those who braved the madness and protected other people. I am saying that the reporting on this guy is out of control. They dont know what to call him. South Korean? English Major? Immigrant with papers? who loved computers? and other hobbies and things that make him weird n stuff... I dunno. Why dont the headlines also read guy who got kicked out of a course he paid for because free speech in america is just an illusion ends up going on a shooting spree. i think that would be just as provocative.

see ya.

Interview with a Solider

Chris says:

hey *****

milk says:

hey *****

milk says:

notice i capitalised for you, and i dont even capitalise myself

Chris says:

Im flattered

Chris says:

hows life

milk says:

4th year is wrapping up, i might might maybe get a job somewhere awesome, but i also might have to move back to toronto, those are the options.

Chris says:

thats cool

Chris says:

so your not gonna go for a masters or anything?

milk says:

oh no i am due for another 4 courses, not in 4th year

milk says:

i am going part time to finish up (with job), or one more semester and then kaput

Chris says:

thats cool

Chris says:

so what is this awesome job u can get

milk says:

at OPIRG, ontario public interest research group

milk says:

get paid to be an activist and alternative coordinator

milk says:

mmm

Chris says:

you ought to go to toronto for the summer

Chris says:

I'm likely gonna be down there myself

Chris says:

we can get together and joke about old times

milk says:

well, that but its hard to live at home again, i know that sounds ridiculous but i really want some kind of meaningful job in ottawa before i go

milk says:

you did yours with the army, you got something there but me i have served the government coffee

Chris says:

yeah I hear you. I dunno how much longer I'll be in the reserves anyway. once I leave I'll just have to start at the bottom of somewhere, probly serving someone coffee

Chris says:

except I'll be a couple years behind because I was busy saluting the flag

milk says:

you can go shoot up some people in afghanistan

Chris says:

fuck off ********

Chris says:

I'm a lover not a fighter

Chris says:

actually I decided a while back not to go there, since reservists are lucky enough to have the coice

milk says:

what makes you think you shouldnt

Chris says:

well I suppose being the hopeless nationalist romantic that I am, I didn't join the army to partake in that kind of mission

Chris says:

I'm all for canada being active overseas but theres better places to be

milk says:

like?

Chris says:

sudan

Chris says:

haiti

Chris says:

even somalia, although the west is afraid of that place now

milk says:

what do you want to do there, keep peace?

Chris says:

there's a better case for invading north korea then staying there

Chris says:

sure, pass out some bottles of water and food packets

Chris says:

instead of measuring success by combat kills

milk says:

so you want canada to have more of a peacekeeper role?

Chris says:

but I served my time, few years now. maybe I should get a real job

Chris says:

yes I think so, just don't tell anyone

Chris says:

I'll look soft

milk says:

dont you think that a lot of people were told they would be peacekeepers and went after it and are now just getting exploded or something in afghanistan?

Chris says:

hmm

Chris says:

well Im sure everyone goes knowing full well whats going to happen

Chris says:

its not like they get there and all of a sudden they're like 'whoa, combat?' I mean they prepare to fight

milk says:

sure but are they being sacrificed to some kind of quiet ideal on the alter of reality, that they cant not be sacrificed because it would make them look soft?

Chris says:

wow thats deep.

Chris says:

yeah I think to a certain extent you may be right there

Chris says:

harper's always going on about how canada's gotta pull its weight in the world

Chris says:

and I suppose pulling our weight means taking casualties in the war on terror

milk says:

well or that this is really how this stuff gets pulled off in the first place, its not just those in it but everyone around them that doesnt injunct and call it Madness?

milk says:

how did it become a duty to be insane

Chris says:

its been ingrained into society for thousands of years *****

Chris says:

war is a noble enterprise

milk says:

no, not be insane really, but to sacrifice, to take risk, for an ideal. well maybe that IS insanity

milk says:

thats just like love, isnt it

Chris says:

u know flook u always hit me on a level no one else could ever touch upon

milk says:

if thats true, i dont know why that is

Chris says:

see most people in the army accept that indoctrination and go with it

Chris says:

I tend to lean towards the need for an army that does more than fight

Chris says:

and believe it or not the army is moving away from that old model, especially in canada

milk says:

i am really taken by the idea of a need for an army that does more than fight

milk says:

i think because it is really close to what almost anyone in canada could agree on

milk says:

except maybe by the people who are in it? do your comrades need their army to do more than fight?

Chris says:

the unfortunate reality is that the bulk of the army is very uneducated, and the training system is still designed to teach the ol' die for the flag stuff

Chris says:

but it slowly evolves

milk says:

like not a lot of them are too concerned with darfur or anything, just the alter itself?

Chris says:

I'd say so

milk says:

well if they dont know its harder to settle moral blame or praise on them and their actions

milk says:

its ambiguous in a democracy who that falls on

Chris says:

thats the biggest scam the state ever pulled, convincing its soldiers not to die for a political agenda but for the state itself. even though its always for a political agenda

Chris says:

but even I'd be willing to die if Canada was invaded by an enemy

milk says:

who is the state?

Chris says:

the state's nobody

Chris says:

its just the ideal, the alter

milk says:

its somebody

milk says:

well, okay somebody's willing

milk says:

i am wondering who wills this

Chris says:

well maybe in practice its somebody but to the soldier its nobody

milk says:

maybe the political agenda will always be the state itself

milk says:

anyways is it greedy of me to get some kind of satisfaction to know that you are not going off to afghanistan to die, because i think you are too clever to die like that

Chris says:

I think I'm too clever to die like that too. But don't give me too much credit. I know how much academics hate nationalism

Chris says:

but I'm a proud mother fucker

milk says:

id be proud if we were giving out water and keeping peace, im not so sure though really, because whose peace would we be keeping, anyways thats something else completely

milk says:

i'd be more proud of that then what it is now is what im thinking.

milk says:

but i dont hate nationalism, i think if the state is a mother then it is our obligation to love her as the creator but um only of good things

milk says:

which is a selective type of nationalism

milk says:

im not one of those canadians that is always proud all the time no matter what we are doing

milk says:

thats what the american war machine has and it is trouble

Chris says:

yes I agree with you there

Chris says:

and you know America's war machine's been chugging along since independence, American history is just one senseless war manufactured as some patriotic myth after another

milk says:

how could it ever get so big?

milk says:

it needed to without a monarchy, is my secret hypothesis

Chris says:

explain!

milk says:

why is canadas military so goofball

milk says:

asides from infinite paranoia of americans and how they dont want anyone else next to us, i think canada stood to benefit from you know, having the queen on our currency and swearing oaths to her and things

milk says:

just symbolic rituals, but association no less

milk says:

*er, next to them : re: americans. they dont want anyone else next to them

milk says:

we avoided such a war machine because of the ambiguity of being canadian

milk says:

all we can ever do is 'seem', we hardly are known. we seem nice

Chris says:

so you're saying that the canadian identity was strengthened by being associated with the rival of America, even if it was in a symbolic rather than realistic way?

milk says:

well our identity by our relative circumstances

milk says:

america the lone revolutionary novelty, no french history to make sense of it. all kinds of goods, all kinds of shores and the frontline , ha, is everywhere. being an american and supporting america and its troops came about from such a vaccuum

milk says:

of identity, of certainty, of power

milk says:

canada kept the monarchy and the monarchy provided some kind of international treaty on our safety-- not perfect, but merely symbolic, associational

Chris says:

do you have conversations like this with everyone?

milk says:

no, sometimes its about really simple lovely things, like old ladies and balloons

milk says:

but i am talking to someone who thinks about canada

Chris says:

for me its gas prices and hockey scores

milk says:

haha, we are both canadians. well, at least I seem nice

milk says:

not a lot of people i know who think, think about canada

milk says:

you know, political people always want to talk about israel/palestine, or BUSH or marx or something

Chris says:

fuck bush

Kurt Vonnegut died. So it goes.

Full out hero and creative genius Kurk Vonnegut passed away yesturday. Here he is pictured smoking his Pall Malls cigarettes, which in his own words is a classy way to commit suicide. I can't tell whether my day is ruined or whether it just means I am to drink to the old man. I think inevitably it will be the latter.

you take the low road and ill take the high road

haha, or something. these arent MY grandpas but they are somebody's and i stoled them.

its been a while eh? well thats because of facebook and stuff, ive been writing notes on there just to piss people off, no im kidding, just to talk my politics there but then i piss off the dumbfounded and get pissed off myself because the dumbfounded have a kind of foundational dumbness that i just dont like to even think through with. call it intellectual intolerance, ha ha, i like that term, but really man i just cant put up with stoopid.

i have a feeling that the people that like me like me a lot and the people that dont like me are stupid and i dont really like them and i think thats a good situation to be in, its like all the people i like like me and all the people i think are dumbasses dont like me but only superficially no not even, only dumbly.

i mean i used to know the feeling of liking someone and not being liked back but that hasnt happened since grade 9 so its smooth sailing feeling.

i just suppose at the same time i wish i could convince these people cleverly how dumb they really are for thinking in such ways but whats worse is that they too have some kind of following or goon posse of dumbasses who actually think these dumbasses are interesting or clever or something.

but i also have a sneaking suspicion that the way in which im not liked is probably something along the lines of "shes such a bitch" or something and that just turns into either she's really smart and likes to use her mind and that threatens me or she isnt licking ass like the rest of us and thinks critically and so now because she's been critical i have a chance to lick more ass and say that she's wrong for criticising the people that i want to lick ass with

those people that my adversaries want to lick the ass of? some of them have the audacity or delusion that they are their friends, its like what you talk to them on facebook and stalk them and take pictures of you with them and bam you are friends please bitch i have worked with these people and im mostly being critical of their head honcho not them themselves so dont say you cant say that about my friends and expect me not to call it pure 100% ass licking fuck you

on second thought they are not even adversaries thats too much of a compliment because my adversary would be my equal and so far so many of the people that write in response to me or criticize me are certainly not my equals they dont even try they start off with insults and jokes and overgeneralizations that i will point out as dumbass-defenses.

i am so lucky to have the friends i have because without them i would start to think that this whole world is crazy and that "friends" means to lick ass and try to suck up to get favours from and that would break my heart in the end because man thats all i seem to see around me on the opposition.

IN OTHER BREAKING NEWS minimum wage earners are the real philanthropists of our society nevermind anyone else. They work for so little to bring us everything we dont really even need. So kind.
