York U's admin is ridiculous. They are saying that to go back to the bargaining table, we would have to agree to binding arbitration. Yet in the 1997 negotiations, York U's admin was against binding arbitration. They are just opportunistic and they put more money into fighting us and good PR campaigns than actually paying people for what universities are for.

CUPE 3903 are the TAs, GAs, RAs and contract faculty at York. We do half of the teaching and intellectual labour, and do not make above the cost of living. Our Dean makes more than Allan Rock (srry rock). He has a personal driver.

They aren't moving, but they are only really quick at the messaging. The Toronto Stars coverage has been dismal. I've been so disappointed by it, I am just blown away by them. The paper was started amidst a strike, they have forgotten their roots
