Fact: Anyone can blog.
It's true. And get this, you don't have to be right, or near-accurate, or know much of anything at all nowadays. With our without a lot of hits, with or without blog trackers, with or without any of that stuff, you too can become an authoritative source on student politics.
Nevermind the real facts, you can make up whatever you'd like! It doesn't have to correspond to anyones reality but your own. You don't have to do any research; just recall what struck you as important, and POOF! Magically it is, just by the clickety-clack of your fingertips and the pushity-push of the buttons.
Omissions of details, like some guy getting 700 votes are not important. What is important is that you can make it all up as you see fit. Don't bother digging through records or heck, even asking people what they were up to before they ran. Do what student politics bloggers do best: overgeneralize! And don't forget to call your observations facts.
Soon you will find yourself linked on a macleans student blogger, in no time!
Presto! You are a blogger.
